Sebring Regional Airport is working to support growth at DUC Propellers, a key tenant that assembles aircraft propellers on-site. The Airport Authority is exploring plans to build a larger manufacturing facility for the company in the airport’s commerce park.

Currently operating out of a 5,000-square-foot building on the airside, DUC Propellers assembles and installs imported propellers. The new facility would allow them to begin manufacturing large rotor systems for vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft—components too large and costly to ship, especially amid rising tariffs.

Executive Director Mike Willingham noted the project could move into the design phase later this year, with construction potentially beginning in early 2026. The Airport Authority’s 2024–25 budget includes $200,000 toward improvements for the future facility.

DUC Propellers is the U.S. branch of France-based DUC Hélices and is supported by six official resellers across the country.
