Sebring Airport to Participate in Florida’s Inaugural AAM Symposium
Sebring, FL — The Sebring Airport Authority is pleased to announce that Deputy Director Andrew Bennett will participate as a panelist at Florida’s inaugural Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Symposium, hosted by the Florida Department of Transportation.
The symposium will take place May 11–12 at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and will bring together leaders from across aviation, aerospace, and economic development sectors to discuss the future of AAM technologies, including electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
Andrew Bennett will join a distinguished panel on “Florida’s Aerial Network Entry Points and its Economic Impact”, where discussion will focus on:
- The development of Florida’s emerging aerial network
- The integration of Advanced Air Mobility at airports
- The reintroduction of regional air service
- Economic opportunities tied to AAM deployment
- Statewide initiatives supporting aviation innovation
Florida has been selected as a national leader in the U.S. DOT and FAA’s Advanced Air Mobility Integration Pilot Program, positioning the state—and airports like Sebring—as key players in the future of aviation.
