Sebring Airport Earns $5,000 Through Safety Initiative
Sebring Airport Authority has received a $5,000 reimbursement from Preferred Governmental Insurance Trust (PGIT) through its TIPS Program, recognizing the Authority’s continued investment in safety and risk prevention.
The TIPS Program provides participating organizations with reimbursement for eligible safety-related training, equipment and purchases that help protect personnel and property while reducing potential liability exposure.
The Authority’s accounting team documented qualifying safety expenditures and successfully secured the full $5,000 allotment available through the program — an accomplishment made even more noteworthy as the department operated short-staffed for much of the year.
The reimbursement reflects Sebring Regional Airport’s ongoing commitment to both safe operations and responsible financial stewardship, while recognizing the important work taking place behind the scenes to support the Airport and its operations.
